  1. I had a new tile floor installed in June 2011 from the Floor Store. In September 2011 I noticed some grout lines cracking and called the Floor Store to inform them of the issue. The owner Brent, who I have dealt with since my initial call, came to review the floor. He informed me that I had a crack in my foundation and needed to call my insurance company.My insurance company sent a professional plumbing company along with an engineer to do extensive reports on my foundation. After the reports were filed and reviewed they determined my foundation had no issues other than normal shifting due to Texas weather. The Floor Store informd me that they would repair the cracked grout and loose tiles. They completed this repair in October 2011. In January 2012, I noticed some tiles coming loose from the floor in the same area where the repair was done. I called the Floor Store again and informed the owner Brent of the situation. He told me that he would meet me at my house to check the tiles.Brent the called me and informed me that the repair for about 100sq ft would cost $1000. I paid $1800 for the entire floo to be completed and was a little shocke about the repair cost. He informed me he had to pay for labor and materials for the repair. I didn't understand why I was paying for labor when it hadn't even been a year since the install and apparently there was no warranty. I asked him about a warranty and he said he did warranty his work but could not warrant a cracked foundation or shifting in the foundation. After speaking with Brent on every occasion he decided he no longer wanted to deal with me and asked his secretary to take over my complaints. This was very unprofessional in my opinion. I worked with the secretary to try and get something resolved. She gave their tile represenative my phone number to contact me to set up an appointment to inspect my floor. It has been several weeks and Brent nor the secretary have contacted me to follow up with the situation. After educating myself on the floor and how it should be repaired I called two companies to inspect the floor and both informed me the job was done incorrectly. The tile rep also informed me the entire floor needed to be redone due to incorrect installation. After my call today to Brent I will be paying another company to repair the floor because the Floor Store does not want to repair his mistake without charging me.
